cannot read File_Entry_Table _FileEntry metadata structure
- file system validation cannot continue
Cause
An attempt to read the _FileEntry metadata structure of the File_Entry_Table failed. The File_Entry_Table is a critical ACFS metadata structure that is required for file system validation or repairs. fsck could not process the file system. NOTE: It is also possible that there was no ACFS file system on this volume.
Action
Correct the problem indicated by the accompanying messages if possible and rerun fsck (Unix or Linux) or acfschkdsk.exe (Windows). If the problem cannot be resolved then restore the file system from a backup copy.
