Character Set Configuration Metrics
Lists the Character Set configuration metrics and provides a brief description of each.

| Client | The character set for statements that arrive from the client. |
| Connection | The character set used for literals that do not have a character set introducer and for number-to-string conversion. |
| Database | The character set used by the default database. |
| Directory | The directory where character sets are installed. |
| Filesystem | The file system character set. |
| Results | The character set used for returning query results such as result sets or error messages to the client. |
| Server Default | The server's default character set. |
| System | The character set used by the server for storing identifiers. |
