Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx SmartNIC Status Indicators

The Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx Dual Port RoCE SmartNIC status indicators are defined as follows:

Port 1 status indicator:

  • OFF = Link has not been established

  • SOLID GREEN = Valid link has been established

  • BLINKING GREEN = Link activity

  • BLINKING AMBER = 1 Hz blink indicates a beacon command is being run to locate the adapter card; 4 Hz blink indicates a problem with the physical link

Port 2 status indicator:

  • OFF = Link has not been established

  • SOLID GREEN = Valid link has been established

  • BLINKING GREEN = Link activity

  • BLINKING AMBER = 1 Hz blink indicates a beacon command is being run to locate the adapter card; 4 Hz blink indicates a problem with the physical link
