Oracle Exadata System Software supports offload of many SQL operators for predicate evaluation. Offload of the following SQL operators are now supported by Oracle Exadata System Software:

• JSON Operators

  • JSON_VALUE

  • JSON_EXISTS

  • JSON_QUERY

  • IS JSON

  • IS NOT JSON

• XML Operators

  • XMLExists

  • XMLCast(XMLQuery())

Minimum software: Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 for offload of JSON. Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 BP1 for XML operator offload.
