8.3.11 Customizable SYSLOG Format
A new cell and database server attribute, syslogFormat
, can be used to change the standard syslog format to any format desired.
When the attribute is set, Management Server (MS) modifies the /etc/rsyslog.conf
file to contain the format string specified, and restarts the syslog daemon. Setting syslogFormat
to an empty string removes the format change and the default format is restored.
