8.3.7.3 Secure Eraser Improvements and New Features
In this release, the following new features and command options were added to Secure Eraser:
- The timezone is now included with the timestamps in the certificate
- Support for erasing individual devices (
--devices_to_erase)

Minimum requirements:
- Oracle Exadata System Software release 19.1.0
- Oracle Exadata Database Machine X5-2 or later (for crypto erase)
