Export and Import Transparent and Replicated Partitions

You can export transparent and replicated partitions in JSON format and import them to re-create the partitions.

To export a partition,
  1. On the Home page, open the target application and open the database (cube).
  2. Click Partitions.
  3. Click the Actions menu Image of the Actions menu icon. to the right of the partition and select Export.
  4. Save the export file to a local folder.
To import a partition,
  1. On the Home page, open the target application and open the database (cube).
  2. Click Partitions.
  3. Click Import and browse to the location where you saved the export file.
  4. Open the file.
  5. Enter the source password, then click Image of the Validate User icon. to Validate User.
  6. Click Image of the Refresh Applications icon. to Refresh Applications, then select the source application and cube.
  7. Enter the target password, then click Image of the Validate User icon. to Validate User.
  8. Validate the partition and click Create.
