SSINVALIDTEXTDETECTION

Enable the SSINVALIDTEXTDETECTION configuration settng if you want Essbase to generate an error when a grid client user enters invalid text data into a cell, which could possibly cause the user to misinterpret the data in the grid.

Syntax

SSINVALIDTEXTDETECTION TRUE | FALSE

  • TRUE—An error message is displayed citing the invalid text and location, and saying to remove the text and retry.

  • FALSE—Default value. No error message is displayed. The text that was entered is ignored.
