Ensure that OpenSSH is installed on your servers. OpenSSH is the required SSH software.

Ubuntu

Minimum supported versions:

  • Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) 6.8.0-1026.27 amd64 or later
  • Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS 5.15.0-1016 or later

Note: Oracle Database Client supports only 64-bit client installations on Ubuntu.
