System Requirements

Oracle Providers for ASP.NET requires the following:

  • Microsoft ASP.NET

    • Oracle Providers for ASP.NET 4 is supported with ASP.NET for .NET Framework 4.7.2 and higher

  • Windows operating system

    • x64: Windows 10 x64 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education Editions), Windows 11 x64 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education Editions),Windows Server 2016 x64 (Standard, Datacenter, and Essentials Editions), Windows Server 2019 x64 (Standard, Datacenter, and Essentials editions), or Windows Server 2022 x64 (Standard, Datacenter, and Essentials editions).

      Starting with version 23, only 64-bit Oracle Providers for ASP.NET are supported.

  • Access to Oracle Database 19c or later.

  • Oracle Data Provider for .NET, Managed Driver

    Managed ODP.NET is installed with Oracle Providers for ASP.NET software. You must use the same ODP.NET version with Oracle Providers for ASP.NET. For example, if you use Oracle Providers for ASP.NET version 23, you should use ODP.NET version 23 as well. Oracle Providers for ASP.NET 4 depend on Oracle Data Provider for .NET 4.
