Description of the illustration synonym_designer.gif

The Synonym Designer dialog box has selection and entry fields for Schema name and Synonym name, currently set to HR and SYNONYM1.

There is an checked option to Create an alias for local database object, followed by lists to select Object type, Schema name and Object name, set in order to: TABLE, HR, and blank.

There is an unchecked option to Create alias for remote database object (DB Link) with lists for setting Database link, schema name, and object name. These are all blank and grayed out

There is a check box for Create as public which is checked.

At the end, are buttons to Preview SQL and Save.
