Description of the illustration package_designer1.gif

The Package Designer dialog box has entry and selection fields for Schema name, Package name, and authenticating identifier, showing in order: HR, PACKAGE1, and DEFINER.

There is a check box to Generate empty package body, currently checked.

There is a parameters areas with a empty entry field, with heading Name and Data Type. To the right of this are up and down arrow buttons, and after it, are Add and Remove buttons.

There is a Parameter details section with fields to enter or select Name, Direction, Data type, and Default. These are all blank and grayed out.

At the end are Preview SQL, OK, Cancel, and Help buttons.
