59.127 SET_GROUP_USER_GRANTS Procedure

This procedure modifies the group grants for a given user.

Syntax

APEX_UTIL.SET_GROUP_USER_GRANTS (
    p_user_name IN VARCHAR2,
    p_granted_group_names IN apex_t_varchar2 );

Parameters

Parameter	Description
`p_user_name`	The target user name.
`p_granted_group_names`	The names of groups to grant to `p_user_name`.

Example

This example creates a user group (MANAGER) and a user (Example User) and then grants MANAGER to Example User.

apex_util.create_user_group (
    p_group_name => 'MANAGER' );
apex_util.create_user (
    p_user_name => 'Example User',
    p_web_password => 1_random_password );
-- grant MANAGER to Example User
apex_util.set_group_user_grants (
    p_user_name => 'Example User',
    p_granted_group_names => apex_t_varchar2('MANAGER') );
