Release 26ai (23.26.1.0.0) - Deprecated and Desupported Features - January 2026

Sybase ASE has been deprecated with Oracle GoldenGate

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, support for Sybase ASE Capture and Delivery will be deprecated, and no new features will be added. Support for Sybase ASE may be desupported in a future release of Oracle GoldenGate.

Release 23.9 Deprecated and Desupported Features and Parameters - July 2025

FORMATASCII, FORMATXML, FORMATSQL Parameters are Desupported

The FORMATASCII, FORMATXML, and FORMATSQL Extract parameters have been desupported. Use the OUTPUTFORMAT parameter instead of these parameters in the Extract parameter file.

Oracle GoldenGate for Oracle TimesTen no longer supports the TimesTen Scaleout architecture

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle GoldenGate for Oracle TimesTen does not support the Scaleout architecture.

Use Oracle GoldenGate 21c for delivery to TimesTen Scaleout architecture for TimesTen versions 18.1 and 22.1.

Oracle GoldenGate has deprecated DBOPTIONS USEREPLICATIONUSER

DBOPTIONS USEREPLICATIONUSER option has been deprecated.

All SQL Server builds automatically set the connection with Replication=yes, and the functionality of DBOPTIONS USEREPLICATIONUSER remains the same as long as SQL Server ODBC driver is version 17.8.1 or higher.

Oracle GoldenGate has deprecated Integrated Replicat

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, integrated Replicat has been deprecated. As an alternative, you can use parallel Replicat in Integrated mode.

Oracle GoldenGate has desupported Oracle GoldenGate Classic Architecture

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle GoldenGate Classic Architecture has been desupported.

Oracle GoldenGate has desupported the following parameters:
Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, the following parameters have been desupported:
  • FILTERTABLE
  • GETREPLICATES
  • GETAPPLOPS
  • IGNOREREPLICATES
  • IGNOREAPPLOPS
  • SHOWSYNTAX

Note:

The TRANLOGOPTIONS FILTERTABLE parameter has been replaced with the EXCLUDEFILTERTABLE parameter, but with the same functionality.
Oracle GoldenGate has desupported Blowfish encryption

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, Blowfish encryption algorithm has been desupported.

Oracle GoldenGate has desupported the Trace Table functionality
Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, the trace table functionality has been desupported for Oracle AI Database. Therefore, the following parameters and commands are also desupported:
  • Parameters:

    • TRACETABLE

    • NOTRACETABLE

  • Commands:

    • ADD TRACETABLE

    • DELETE TRACETABLE

    • INFO TRACETABLE

Oracle GoldenGate has desupported six-digit trail file

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, the six-digit trail file has been desupported.

Oracle GoldenGate has desupported the use of userid and password in Extract and Replicat parameter files

Starting with Oracle GoldenGate, the use of userid and password in the Extract and Replicat parameter files has been desupported. Alternatively, you need to use the useridalias option.
