Configure a Cascading Topology Replication

Scripts are available in cURL and as OBEY commands to be run in a REST API client or Admin Client, to test the cascading topology across three PDBs. You can use the scripts available in the following topics to:

• Add a data replication environment where the source PDB has an Extract process that captures from the source PDB and transmits trail data to the intermediate PDB which contains a Replicat and an Extract process. On the intermediate instance, the Replicat applies the trail data from source PDB and then the Extract captures the committed transactions and trasmits trail data to the target PDB. See Cascading Configuration Real-World Use Cases for a conceptual understanding of this type of topology.

• Check the statistical reports for Daily, Hourly, and Total committed DML and DDL operations.

• Delete the data replication environment and verify that the environment was deleted after testing.
