Migrate Prompt-Based Generative AI Capabilities to Execution-Ready AI Agent

Sellers already use Generative AI capabilities in the Oracle Sales Add-in to summarize email conversations, identify Sales follow-up activity recommendations, and streamline email communications. While these experiences help save time, prompt-based AI generated content is limited to the immediate context available at the time of generation.

With the 26C update, these capabilities are now powered by an Email Actions Assistant Agent. The agent-based architecture incorporates additional business context to deliver more targeted outcomes for generated content.

For example, the Summarize Email capability now evaluates previously logged Sales follow-up activities and recommends only net-new follow-up activities, helping sellers avoid duplicate tasks and appointments. In addition, follow-up meeting recommendation adds meeting title and agenda from the email context, apart from identifying attendees and suggested date and time.

Compose with AI and Reply with AI capabilities are also powered by Agentic AI. Sellers can leverage the enhanced writing tool to further refine generated email drafts. With Compose with AI, the generated email subject and body now flow directly into the Outlook subject and body fields, making the compose experience feel more native. The same agentic experience also applies to email compose in the Oracle CX Sales Mobile App.

There is no change in the selllers' user experience with the enhanced Agentic AI backed functions.

Sellers can move from understanding customer conversations to acting on the right priorities more efficiently, with AI experiences that are more contextual and easier to act upon.

Steps to enable and configure

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Tips and considerations

  1. As a prerequisite, this is an AI Agent-powered capability and requires AI Agent Studio to be enabled.
  2. To migrate supported Generative AI capabilities to the Email Actions Assistant Agent:
    1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance > Setup: Sales > Intelligence in Sales > Enable Generative AI Features in Sales.
    2. Alternatively, search for and open the FSM task: Enable Generative AI Features in Sales.
    3. Enable Enable Prompt Execution via AI Agents.
    4. Click Save.
  3. If you customized prompts in earlier releases, make the corresponding updates to the LLM nodes in Agent Studio after migrating to the Email Actions Assistant Agent.
