Narrative Insights Agent

Narrative Insights Agent brings a new level of interactivity to visualizations by embedding AI-driven descriptive analytics directly into the sales dashboard. Whenever sales users explore adaptive search-based visualizations, they can now see automatically generated summaries, anomalies or outliers, and emerging patterns that highlight what the data is really saying. Beyond static insight delivery, the feature presents suggested follow-up questions tailored to the detected insights, allowing users to dive deeper with one click. Sales users can also ask their own natural follow-up questions to continue exploring without leaving the dashboard. This capability is available out-of-the-box on adaptive search visualizations and requires no additional configuration, making it simple to adopt and scale across teams.

Steps to enable and configure

Leverage the Visual Builder Studio to expose your applications. To learn more about extending your application using Visual Builder, visit Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Configuration and Extension.

  • Log in as an Administrator to your VBDT instance and navigate to the Sales Dashboard page where you want to configure the agent.
  • Go to the Constants tab in the dashboard settings.
  • Locate the enableAgents configuration variable and add the workflow code or agent team code for the Narrative Insights Agent.

  • Save your changes and publish the dashboard to make the Sales Analyzer Agent available to end users.
