IMPORTANT: Mandatory Migration to Redwood Career Development
Change: Customers must migrate to the new Redwood Career Development experience before release 27A. Starting 27A, all customers will be automatically moved to the Redwood experience.
Announced: 26B
Support ends: 26D (Career Development pages in Responsive UI won’t be supported after this release)
Details: In 24D, Oracle released the Redwood Career Development experience for employees in Opportunity Marketplace. See the 24D What's New feature, Browse and View Career Roles, where this capability was introduced.
If you’re using only the Employee experience for Career Development, you must move now.
If you’re using the Manager experience, you could move over in 26C when the Redwood experience for managers will be made available.
Does this impact me? Yes. If any of your employees or managers use the Responsive UI-based Career Development pages, those pages will no longer be supported after 26D. If you don’t manage this change proactively, you’ll be automatically moved to the new experience in 27A.
Areas impacted: Career Development work area in Me > Career and Performance and My Team > Career Overview.
Why move to Redwood Career Development? Redwood Career Development delivers a modern, integrated experience across Opportunity Marketplace, Learning, and Skills to support internal mobility and career growth. These improvements provide a future-ready career development solution for your enterprise.
