SEO and Redirects
You can create URL redirects in NetSuite to make web pages available under multiple URLs. This is useful if you have moved a site to a new domain or if you want to redirect an often misspelled domain to the correct location.
URL redirection lets search engines that have already ranked your website pages to find your new site and update links. URL redirects created in NetSuite are interpreted by search engines as having the 301 HTTP status code of moved permanently.
NetSuite provides the following ways for you to set up URL redirects:
-
You can add or update URL redirects individually on the Redirect record page. See Setting Up a URL Redirect.
-
You can update redirect domains to switch multiple URL redirects from one domain to another. See Updating Redirect Domains.
-
You can add or update URL redirects in bulk by importing them from a CSV file. NetSuite provides an import assistant and a template file for this purpose. See Importing Website Redirects.
-
You can delete URL redirects in bulk with a mass update action. See Delete Web Site Redirects Mass Update.
