Setting Up Nexuses in SuiteTax

Tax Deduction at Source

TDS is a means of collecting tax under the Indian Income Tax Act of 1961.

The government of India introduced TDS to collect taxright at the source of income.

It also deducts tax when an invoice is issued or payment is made, whichever happens first.

Goods and Services Tax

GST is an indirect tax on goods and services, from the manufacturer to the consumer.

Tax Collection at Source

Tax Collected at Source (TCS) is income tax the seller collects from the buyer on certain sales.

The seller collects TCS from the buyer when deducting or receiving the payment, whichever happens first.
