Checking Accounts for NetSuite Connector Deployment
Before going live, switch from your sandbox account to your production account if you haven't already. Switching NetSuite account does not affect the mappings, but ensure that the field IDs and internal IDs mapped are same in the production NetSuite account.
To switch from sandbox to production account:
-
If you have NetSuite Connector SuiteApp installed in your sandbox, uninstall it.
-
Install the NetSuite Connector SuiteApp in your production account.
-
After installation, complete the connection between your production account and NetSuite Connector.
Note:When you switch from sandbox to production, NetSuite Connector purges the current data including orders, products, and refunds. This is done to prevent conflicts with your production account data. Only NetSuite Connector data is cleared, not data from marketplaces or carts.
Multiple Connectors Going Live
If you have multiple connectors to set live, don't enable all syncs at the same time. Enable one connector sync at a time, leaving a time gap between each one. Use this time gap to check for any issues with your orders and items.
3PLs
3PL shipping software like ShipStation and ShipWorks that requires you to manually schedule pulling of new orders through NetSuite Connector do not have a separate go-live process. The connector is considered as live when several days worth of orders have synced through NetSuite Connector. Other 3PLs have order and fulfillment sync buttons that can be enabled from the NetSuite Connector dashboard.
