Using the Same-Store Sales Report Portlet

By default, the Same-Store Sales Report portlet has the following features:

To grant other roles that use different centers, access to the portlet, the Administrator must define the Script Audience of the portlet.

To add and use the Same-Store Sales Report portlet:

The Same-Store Sales Report portlet displays the sales data of comparable stores based on the parameters that you entered.

To view more details of the report, click the Same-Store Sales link to open the main page of the Same-Store Sales Report.

  1. Using a role that has been granted access to the portlet, click Personalize in the upper right corner of your dashboard or use Personalize Dashboard in the Settings portlet.

  2. On the Standard Content tab of the Personalize Dashboard palette, click Custom Portlet.

    The Custom Content section is displayed on the dashboard.

  3. On the upper right corner of the Custom Content section, point to the three-dot overflow menu and click Set Up.

    The Custom Content window is displayed.

  4. In the Source dropdown field, select Same-Store Sales Report and click Save.

    The Same-Store Sales Report portlet is displayed on your dashboard.

  5. On the Same-Store Sales Report portlet, select values for the following fields:

    • Metric – You can only select one metric on the portlet.

    • Reporting Period – You can select Day, Week, Period, Quarter, and Year. Custom reporting period is not available.

    • End Date - This Year – Enter a date when the reporting period ends.

  6. Click Save.
