Updating Item Records using Mass Update
After installing this SuiteApp, you can use the Mass Updates functionality to update existing items for the following:

Receive new UPC codes automatically.

Remove UPC codes from items.
-
Exclude items from automatic UPC code assignment.
To update item records using mass updates:

Click General Updates.

Set any necessary criteria.

Click the Mass Update Fields subtab.

You can check the following boxes:
-
Exclude from Auto-Assign UPC
-
UPC Code Assignment
Important:You must not select Blank for UPC Code and UPC Code Assignment fields.

Click Preview.
-
Click Perform Update.
For the UPC Code Assignment field, you can choose the following options:

Assign New UPC Code -If you select this option, see Auto Assign UPC Script Deployment to perform the next steps for automatic UPC code assignment.

Remove UPC Code -If you select this option, the UPC codes are removed from the selected item records and their statuses are set to Retired.

Do not Assign New UPC Code -If you select this option, the selected item records will be excluded from automatic UPC code assignment.
