Override China VAT Split Rule
This feature requires the China Localization SuiteApp.
The following topics describe how to override the VAT split rule in China Localization.
Overview
When issuing VAT Invoices, NetSuite automatically splits transactions to comply with the China Golden Tax System. By default, VAT Invoices are split using two rules:
-
Eight-line limit split - Splits transactions across two VAT invoices when there's more than eight transaction lines.
-
Maximum Amount Split - Splits transactions across two VAT invoices when the China Max VAT Invoice Amount is exceeded. For more information, see Setting the China Max VAT Invoice Amount.
You can change this when you create an invoice, enter a cash sale, issue a credit memo, or refund a cash sale.
