Override China VAT Split Rule
This feature requires the China Localization SuiteApp
The following topics describe overriding the VAT split rule in China Localization.
Overview
When issuing VAT Invoices, transactions are split automatically to conform with the China Golden Tax System. By default, VAT Invoices are split using two rules:
-
Eight-line limit split -This splits the transactions across two VAT Invoices when the transaction lines exceed eight lines.
-
Maximum Amount Split -This splits the transactions across two VAT Invoices when the China Max VAT Invoice Amount is exceeded. See Defining China Max VAT Invoice Amount .
This can be changed when creating an invoice, entering a cash sale, issuing a credit Memo, or refunding a cash sale.
