Timesheet Report
To access the Timesheet report, from the Workforce Management tab, go to Reports > Shifts > Timesheet.
The Timesheet report allows you to generate a CSV file with time data from SuitePeople Time Clock or time and attendance data from SuitePeople Workforce Management.
You can generate the Timesheet report up to a maximum of two months at a time for any number of locations.
This report includes raw timesheet data. If a manager approves a different time that a staff member worked, you will still see the original clock-in and clock-out time here.
The two report types available to be generated are:
-
Hours summary
-
Punch events
Hours summary
The Hours summary report type displays information about shift hours for the staff member, including timesheet length and start and end times for shifts and breaks.
Punch events
The Punch events report type displays more shift information than the Hours summary report type. The Punch events report type displays a row for each punch event with detailed information about each shift punch.
The Punch events report type includes the following columns:
-
Time – The time when the punch event occurred.
-
Event – A punch event occurs when a staff member tracks time through SuitePeople Time Clock or Adi Insights mobile time and attendance. The events are recorded each time a staff member clocks in or out and records an action on the device. The types of actions include:
-
Shift start – Clock in to start a shift.
-
Shift finish – Clock out to finish a shift.
-
Break start – Clock in to start an unpaid break.
-
Break finish – Clock out to finish an unpaid break.
-
Change job – Some staff members may change their job roles in the middle of their shift.
-
Server – SuitePeople Workforce Management automatically clocks out staff members 24 hours after their shift ends if they have forgotten to clock out manually. Managers can also clock out staff members if they notice this during shift approvals on the Weekly.
-
-
Source – The device type on which the punch event was made on. SuitePeople Workforce Management supports three different device types:
-
SuitePeople Time Clock – The app is available on Windows, iOS, or Android.
-
SuitePeople Workforce Management mobile app – The app is installed on staff members' mobile devices. This will only appear if enabled on the company configuration.
-
-
Geo – Yes or No -This displays the GPS coordinates if a staff member clocks in or out from the app. These coordinates appear in the "Longitude" and "Latitude" columns. This will only appear as "Yes" if time punches in the Adi Insights phone app are available.
Note:GPS coordinates are not available from SuitePeople Time Clock. Staff members must physically be at the device to clock in and out of their shifts.
-
Authentication Method – This only appears on punches completed in SuitePeople Time Clock. You will see the PIN code option or the Left or Right (finger name) option.
-
PIN Code – The punch-in event was completed by entering a PIN code.
-
Left/Right – SuitePeople Time Clock uses a fingerprint scanner to track which registered finger a staff member used for the punch event. For example, they can use their left index finger or right thumb to complete the punch event.
