Product Sync Triggers
A Salesforce product is synced to NetSuite item whenever:

A new product is created in Salesforce.

An existing product is updated in Salesforce.
When syncing a Salesforce product into NetSuite, the connector checks the Product Code against the ItemID in NetSuite. The sync also checks if the Item Type of the item is the expected value. If found, the NetSuite item is updated. If no item is found, a new item is created for the Salesforce product.
By default, Salesforce products are synced immediately to NetSuite when created or updated. You can choose from the following Salesforce Product to NetSuite Item sync triggers:

Sync immediately when the product is created or updated (default)

Sync when a specific product field meets a defined criterion
