Prerequisites for Installing Costed Bill of Materials

To work with subsidiaries, you need access to a NetSuite One World account and have enabled Subsidiaries. To learn more, see Working with Subsidiaries.

Following are some general information for the Costed Bill of Materials SuiteApp:

The currency of the cost displayed in the report is shown based on the default currency of the selected subsidiary.

The subassemblies should have a master default bill of materials and the default routing for location to get the detailed estimated cost.

The SuiteApp displays details in the Materials Costs, Top Level Costs, and Fully Exploded Costs subtabs irrespective of whether a work center, cost template, or routing is active or inactive.

The SuiteApp supports up to 900 levels of assembly items and up to 400 sub-assemblies in each level.
