Transferring Consigned Inventory
Based on your transfer requirements, you can use the following forms for vendor consigned items stored in your location:
-
Transfer Order or Intercompany Transfer Order - On these forms, you can add items enabled for consigned inventory that you want to move between locations. You must check the Use Item Cost as Transfer Cost setting on the order since use of transfer pricing is not supported. After you fully or partially fulfill a transfer, you can't edit this setting anymore.
If you don't check the Use Item Cost as Transfer Cost setting for consigned item transfers, you may encounter the following issues during fulfillment:
-
Consigned statuses don't appear even for items enabled for consigned inventory.
-
On fulfillments for transfers that include consigned quantities only, you can't enter inventory details, such as bins and statuses.
