Southeast Asia Localization
The Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp provides localized invoicing features and electronic payment formats that are specific to Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
The SuiteApp is a free, managed bundle, and is automatically updated when a new version is available.
The Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp is not compatible with the SuiteTax feature. If the SuiteTax feature is enabled in your NetSuite account, please do not install this SuiteApp.
Malaysia

The Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp includes Malaysia invoice and credit note templates. For more information, see Malaysia Invoicing Features and Malaysia Invoice and Credit Note Templates.

Malaysia invoice and credit note templates support transactions in foreign currency and with multiple tax codes. For more information, see Support for Transactions in Foreign Currency and Support for Transactions with Multiple Tax Codes.

To use Malaysia payment file formats, you must install or update the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp first, followed by installation or update of the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp. If done so, the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp adds the Malaysia payment formats in the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp. Then, using the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp, you can set up bank records and specify Malaysia payment formats as the electronic fund transfer (EFT) template. Philippines

The Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp includes Philippine invoicing features. The SuiteApp provides templates for generating and printing Philippine VAT invoice, VAT official receipt and credit memo. It also has features for adding document numbering, inclusive serial number, and CAS (Computerized Accounting System) registration details on transactions. Branch ID field is added in customer and vendor records if your company or any subsidiaries has a Thailand nexus. Branch ID field is also added in sale and purchase transactions. For more information, see Branch ID Field.

Transaction Amount in Words field is added in sale transactions if the nexus country of the transaction is Thailand. For more information, see Transaction Amount in Words Field.

Print status is indicated on the printed tax invoice and credit memo if the templates are used. For more information, see Print Status.
Requirements
Before installing the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp, the following SuiteCloud features must be enabled in your account:

Installing the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp
To enable the localized features for Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Philippines in your account, you must install the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp.
The Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp is a free, managed bundle, and is automatically updated when a new version is available.
To install the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp:

Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.

In the Keywords field, enter Southeast Asia Localization or 298382 (Bundle ID).

Click Search and click the link of the SuiteApp.
-
On the Bundle Details page, click Install.
After installing the SuiteApp, it is automatically upgraded with enhancements or features when new versions are released.
Limitations of the SuiteApp
Currently, the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp has the following limitations:

Singapore and Thailand invoicing features do not work if the SuiteTax feature is enabled.

Thailand custom fields are not yet translated to Thai.
