Analyzing Trends in the Revenue Dashboard
The Revenue Dashboard shows trend graphs of Actual and Forecast data by Customer and Item for the selected Class. Use the Revenue Dashboard to analyze Revenue trends by Customer and Item.

This section includes general instructions on how to use the following interactive subforms in the Revenue Dashboard:

Revenue by Customer Trend – Uses Actual and Forecast values to see the total Revenue for the selected Class by Total Customer. The subform includes the option to drill down by Customer Category and Customer to analyze the Revenue.

Revenue by Item Trend – Uses Actual and Forecast values to see the total Item Revenue for the selected Class. The subform includes the option to drill down by Item Type and Items.
To analyze the Revenue trends by using the Revenue Dashboard:
You can maximize and refresh each trend graph individually by clicking the Maximize icon and Refresh icon in each subform
, respectively.

From the Home page, click the Revenue and Gross Margin card.

To go to Trend Based Revenue forms, click the 1 tab on the left-hand side.

Click Revenue Dashboard.

In the Point of View (POV), select a Version, Subsidiary, Currency, and Class.

From the Tracker list in the POV, select one of the following options:

To see the graphs by value, select Amount.

To see the graphs by percentage of the total Revenue, select % of Total Revenue.

If you use Dashboards 1.0, click the Go icon
to apply the changes to the POV.

Hover over a series line in the graph to see the series name, period (group), and value.

To review the Revenue by Customer trend, click Total Customer in the legend to drill into the Revenue data.
Review the data to identify which Customers are driving Revenue within the Customer Category and to identify trends within the graph.

To review the Revenue by Item trend, click Total Customer in the legend to drill into the Revenue data.
Review the data to identify which Item types are driving Revenue within the Customer Category and to identify trends within the graph.
You can drill further into the Item types to individual Item details.
