Electronic Invoices
Electronic invoices (e-invoice) is a digital version of a transaction record between supplier and a buyer. These invoices serve as a replacement for traditional paper or electronic documents like invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
E-invoices contain key details similar to conventional documents such as supplier and buyer information, item descriptions, quantities, prices excluding tax, taxes, and the total amount. This information captures the transaction data essential for daily business operations.
The North America Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp helps NetSuite users in North America with the generation and sending of e-invoices (e-documents) for invoices. For more information about generating and sending invoices, see Invoice.
By using North America Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp, you must first generate an e-invoice in the form of XML document as a standard transaction. After generating the e-invoice, you can send the generated e-document in XML format to the e-document recipients on the DBNA network.
