This release brings updates that make the Planning and Budgeting Financials Sync SuiteApp fully compatible with NetSuite 2024.2.

This version of the SuiteApp introduces the following new features and enhancements:

  • You can configure substitution variables the values of which you want to advance to the next period or year on a button click. For a complete description of this feature, see Enabling Automatic Update of Substitution Variables Values.

    Important:

    For this feature to take effect, you need to set up the default configuration for substitution variables:

    1. Go to Setup > Planning and Budgeting Financials > Set Default Configurations.

    2. For substitution variables, check the Configure box.

    3. If you have previously set up the default configuration for substitution variables, you need to check the Overwrite Existing Values box.

    4. Click Submit.

  • You can create demand forecasting saved searches in NetSuite for your integration with Planning and Budgeting Financials. For a list of the saved searches, see the Demand Forecasting Saved Searches group in the help topic Saved Searches for Planning and Budgeting Financials Sync.

  • Before you download the integration artifacts ZIP file from NetSuite, you need to specify the following cube details in NetSuite:

    • The number and names of Block Storage Option (BSO) cubes

    • The name of the Aggregate Storage Option (ASO) cube

  • The Planning and Budgeting Financials Sync SuiteApp has been localized into other languages. After the SuiteApp is updated on your NetSuite account, you can expect the following behavior:

    • If your NetSuite account’s default language is other than English, you will find your Planning and Budgeting Financials Sync interface localized into that language.

    • If you have the Multi-Language feature enabled, you can view your Planning and Budgeting Financials Sync interface localized in the user's preferred language.
