Creating a BOM From an Assembly
The following procedure describes how to create a BOM from an assembly.
To create a BOM from an assembly:

To create a new assembly or use an existing assembly, go to Lists > Accounting > Items.

Beside the assembly you want to create a BOM for, click Edit.

Click the Manufacturing subtab.

In the Bill of Materials list, click New.

Complete the Bill of Materials window.

Click Save.
Note:
Assemblies with six or more BOM levels may interfere with the Material Requirements Planning process performance.
