Using Fiscal Year Expressions with Advanced Numbering Rules
You can define your company's fiscal year at Setup > Accounting > Manage G/L > Manage Accounting Periods. Fiscal years don't have to align with calendar years. For more information, see Fiscal Calendars.
You can use the following fiscal year expressions to show the fiscal year in your advanced numbering rules. You can use any of these expressions if your fiscal year matches the calendar year.

${YYYY_START}: When your fiscal year covers two years, this uses the four-digit year from the first part as the fiscal year.

${YY_START}: When your fiscal year covers two years, this uses the two-digit year from the first part as the fiscal year.

${YYYY_END}: When your fiscal year covers two years, this uses the four-digit year from the second part as the fiscal year.
