Mobile Installation Guide

The Field Service Management Mobile application is powered by HTML5. This means the download is initiated through the mobile device's web browser and not from the Play Store or App Store. Updates are received by refreshing the application when the user is logged in. Users should download the Mobile app's home page icon to their device before use so the experience feels like the app was downloaded from the Play Store or App Store.

The mobile device should be running the latest Android or iOS version. Make sure that browsers are also updated to their latest versions.

To install the Field Service Management Mobile application on Android:

  1. On the mobile device's email app, open the Field Service Mobile Login email invitation.

    On the email, click Go to Mobile!.

  2. The Field Service Mobile login page opens on the device's default browser.

    If the browser requests to use the device's location, click Allow. This allows your location pin to show on the Scheduler and Mobile.

  3. On Google Chrome, click More (denoted by three dots) in the upper right corner and select Add to Home screen.

    On Microsoft Edge, click the Menu (denoted by three horizontal lines) on the lower right corner and select Add to phone.

  4. The Create shortcut popup appears. Click Add.

    The Field Service Management Mobile application should now appear as an icon on the device home screen.

  5. Click on the Mobile icon to open the application and log in with your username and password.

To install the Field Service Management Mobile application on iOS:

  1. On the mobile device's email app, open the Field Service Mobile Login email invitation.

    On the email, click Go to Mobile!.

  2. The Field Service Mobile login page opens on Safari.

    If Safari requests to use the device's location, click Allow. This allows your location pin to show on the Scheduler and Mobile.

  3. Click Share (denoted by a box with an upward arrow icon) on the bottom of the page and select Add to Home Screen.

  4. Click Add.

    The Field Service Management Mobile application should now appear as an icon on the device home screen.

  5. Click on the Mobile icon to open the application and log in with your username and password.

Field Service Management Mobile Application on NetSuite Sandbox

The Field Service Mobile app can also be installed through a Sandbox link for testing purposes. The mobile app icon for the Sandbox account is identical to the icon generated from the Production environment. The Sandbox icon should be deleted from the home screen prior to installing the Field Service Mobile app for the Production account.
