Required Setup for Using the Germany Localization SuiteApp
This section includes information about required steps for a proper setup of your account. Make sure you complete these steps before you start using the features provided by the Germany Localization SuiteApp:
Setting the Region of Your German Subsidiary
To be able to properly generate reports provided by the Germany Localization SuiteApp, the Region field of your German subsidiary must be set.
This setting applies to the One World account types. If you use a Single Instance account type, see Setting the Region of Your German Company.
To set your subsidiary's region:

Go to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries.

Click Edit next to the subsidiary, for which you want to set the region. If you are creating a new subsidiary, click the New Subsidiary button instead.

In the Region field on the Subsidiary page, select an appropriate region from the list.

Click Save.
Setting the Region of Your German Company
To be able to properly generate reports provided by the Germany Localization SuiteApp, the Region field of your German company must be set.
This setting applies to the Single Instance account types. If you use a One World account type, see Setting the Region of Your German Subsidiary.
To set your company's region:

Go to Setup > Company > Company Information.

In the Region field on the Company Information page, select an appropriate region from the list.

Click Save.
