Adding New Customers to Revenue Budget

Use the Revenue -New Customer by Account Budget form to enter Budget values for potential Customers that are not listed on the Revenue by Customer Budget form. Enter data to the generic Customer rows for the Account that you select.

To enter Budget values for new Customers by Account:

  1. From the Home page, click the Budget card.

  2. Click the 2 tab on the left-hand side.

  3. Click New Customer by Account.

  4. In the Point of View (POV), select a Scenario, Version, Subsidiary, Currency, Class, Item, and Account.

    Note:

    To enter Budget values in this form, you must set your POV to level 0 members.

    If you use Forms 1.0, click the Go icon Screenshot of the Go icon to apply the changes to the POV.

  5. Enter Budget values for one or more new Customers.

  6. Click Save.

  7. To recalculate the cost of goods sold (COGS), right-click the data grid, and then select Launch COGS for all Customers Budget.

  8. To populate top-level members with the adjusted data in input currency, right-click the data grid, and then select Agg to Income Statement Budget.

  9. To see the new Customer's revenue Budget:

    1. Click Revenue by Customer.

    2. In the POV, change Customer Category to Total New Customer.
