Selecting a Plug-in for Data Processing

You need to add a Data Management or Planning and Budgeting job in NetSuite, and then select a plug-in to process data for the job.

To add a plug-in to a job:

  1. In NetSuite, go to Planning & Budgeting > Jobs > Manage Jobs.

  2. On the Planning & Budgeting Jobs page, do one of the following:

    • In the list of jobs, click Edit next to a job of your choice.

    • If you do not see the job in the list, and you have the Administrator role, click the Add Job button, and follow steps 3 through 6 in Adding a Job in NetSuite.

  3. Click the Options subtab. Take one or more of the following actions, depending on what is applicable to the job type you have selected:

    • From the Post–processing Plug-in dropdown list, select the plug-in you want to use to process data.

    • If you want to store the log file of the executed job in NetSuite, check the Save Execution Logs in NetSuite box.

    • If you do not want to run the import job, and only want to upload the CSV file to Data Management, check the Upload Only box.

  4. Click Save.
