Extended Category Feature: Service line <n>

Administrators now have the option of creating five new Service Lines <n>, where <n> is an integer from 1 to 5. These act in a similar manner to the default “service” feature and transactions in SuiteProjects Pro can be split across service lines for reporting purposes.

To use this feature, you must contact SuiteProjects Pro Support and request the extended category feature to be enabled. This lets you create the additional lines and adds service <n> as selectable fields on revenue recognition rules.

The service value set on the top level task is stamped on all transactions associated with the phase including:

To create a New service <n> line:

  1. Go to Administration > Application Settings > Projects > Service <n> lines.

  2. Select New Service <n> line from the Create Button.

  3. Name the Service <n> line.

  4. Add notes to clarify the use of the service <n> line.

  5. Click Save.
