Negative Charge Stages

When this feature is enabled, you can differentiate between regular and negative charge stages. All charges in a negative charge stage have their monetary amount (price) multiplied by –1.

To change a regular charge stage to a negative charge stage, go to Administration > Application Settings > Invoices > Charge stages > [Select a charge stage] and check the All charges within this stage to be multiplied by –1 box. Clear the box to change a negative charge stage to a regular charge stage.

Moving a charge from a regular stage to a negative stage (and inversely) changes the charge monetary amount. It is multiplied by –1. The charge amount is not changed when moved between two stages of the same type. Negative charge stages cannot be selected on billing rules.
