This diagram displays the semantic layer and shows the different ways to mash up data in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. The first box in the diagram displays the general framework of the semantic layer. The top part of this box shows three layers that form the semantic model. These layers are:

A presentation layer that defines how analytics entities are exposed to end user.
A logical layer where business modeling is done and business logic is applied to raw physical tables and STAR Schemas are compiled.
A physical layer that shows how physical data ingested from Netsuite is stored.

Below that we see two types of content: Ready-to-use and custom. The ready-to-use content refers to the factory schema and the derived presentation layer that come ready-to-use with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse. The custom content refers to the content that you can create using the third-party data sources. The last section refers to the general predicates supported by the platform and that get applied on the semantic model. These are security roles for access control, enablement of features, and extension of the source system.

The other two boxes in the diagram displays the Extensibility Framework as Option 1 and Data Flow as Option 2 to mash up data.
