Create Assessment for Target Database Group

1. Under Security center, click Security assessment.
2. Click Create assessment for target database group.

Step 1: Create assessment

1. Update the Name of the security assessment.
2. From the Compartment drop-down list, select the compartment that contains the target database group for which you want to do the assessment.
3. (Optional) Add a Description.
4. Select the Target database group.
5. (Optional) Click Show advanced options to tag the assessment.
   1. Select a Tag namespace from the drop-down list.
   2. Provide a Tag key and Tag value.
   3. (Optional) Click Add tag to add an additional tag.
6. Click Next.

Step 2: Select security checks

1. Choose to Apply an existing template or Create a new template.
2. If you choose to Apply an existing template, select a Template from the drop-down list.
3. If you choose to Create a new template, complete the following template information items:
   1. Provide a Template name.
   2. From the Compartment drop-down list, select a compartment.
   3. (Optional) Add a Description.
   4. Select an Assessment template to be imported.
   5. (Optional) Click Show advanced options to tag the assessment.
      1. Select a Tag namespace from the drop-down list.
      2. Provide a Tag key and Tag value.
      3. (Optional) Click Add tag to add an additional tag.
   6. Choose to Select all checks if needed.
   7. (Optional) Click Add more checks.
      1. Select an Assessment template to be imported.
      2. (Optional) Click + Add filter to apply a filter to the results.
      3. Select the desired checks.
      4. Click Add more.

Step 3: Update baseline template severity

1. Provide a Name.
2. (Optional) Add a Description.
3. (Optional) Click + Add filter to apply a filter to the results.
   1. Select a Type from the drop down list.
   2. Select an Operation from the drop down list.
   3. Select a Value from the drop down list.
   4. Click Apply.
   5. Repeat the above steps to apply more filters, as needed.
4. (Optional) Update template baseline severity for target database group. The Expected severity options are High, Medium, Low, Advisory, Evaluate, Deferred, and Pass.
5. Click Next.

Step 4: Review and submit

1. Review the template information and checks.
2. Choose to Submit or click Previous to update any information.

Step 5: Template creation progress

Note that creating an assessment template is a multi-step process and it may take a few minutes to finish creating the template.
