Manage Tags for the DB System

This article provides the procedure to manage tags for the DB system.

Procedure

Perform the following steps to manage tags for the DB systems using the OCI Console:

  1. On the DB Systems list page, select the DB system that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the DB system, see List the DB Systems.
  2. On the DB system details page, from the Actions menu, select Add tags.
  3. Alternatively, on the DB system details page, select the Tags tab to view the list of existing tags.
    • To add more tags to this resource, select Add.
    • To delete an existing tag, select the checkbox next to the tag and then select Actions and then select Delete.
    • To edit an existing tag, select the checkbox next to the tag and then select Actions and then select Edit.
You can add free-form tags or defined tags to this resource. You must have permission to use the tag namespace for defined tags. For information about using tags to manage your OCI resources, see Resource Tags.

Tip:

Tags can be applied later or at any time to a resource.
