Shows the components of Autonomous AI Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure. In this graphic, you can see an Exadata Infrastructure resource with two Autonomous VM Cluster resources created in it. They are named Autonomous VM Cluster 1 and Autonomous VM Cluster 2.
Autonomous VM Cluster 1 has two Autonomous Container Databases named ACD1 and ACD2. Similarly, Autonomous VM Cluster 2 has two Autonomous Container Databases named ACD3 and ACD4.
Each of these ACD resources has one or more Autonomous AI Databases created in them as listed below:
ACD1 has three Autonomous AI Databases named ADB1, ADB2, and ADB3.
ACD 2 has two Autonomous AI Databases named ADB1 and ADB2.
ACD3 has a single Autonomous AI Database named ADB1
ACD4 has two Autonomous AI Databases named ADB1 and ADB2.
Additionally, there are callouts for each resource to highlight all the parameters of the Autonomous AI Database that a resource can determine. Some of these parameters can be selected while provisioning the resource, and some can even be modified later. They are:
Exadata Infrastructure: You can determine Exadata System model, region, availability domain, compute and storage configuration, and custom maintenance schedule at the Exadata Infrastructure resource level.
Autonomous Exadata VM Cluster: You can determine DB server node isolation, memory to CPU ratio, network and port settings, number of CPUs and storage configurations, number of ACDs in an AVMC, Bring Your Own SSL and ORDS certification, license type, time-zone, and maintenance schedule.
Autonomous Container Database: You can determine the Database version, Database Software Image, SLA - Autonomous Data Guard configuration, encryption key, maintenance schedule, backup destination and retention policy, Autonomous Database resource management, and net services architecture..
Autonomous AI Database: You can determine the workload type, Lakehouse or Transaction Processing, while provisioning an Autonomous AI Database. You can also choose CPU count nd storage size, auto-scaling, Database in-memory, access control settings, and character sets at an Autonomous AI Database level.
