This is an event-driven recipe that synchronizes ESG data from EcoVadis to Oracle Procurement Cloud suppliers that are created during supplier registration.

To use the recipe, you must install the recipe and configure the connections and other resources within it. When a new supplier is created from registration in Oracle Procurement Cloud, a business event is raised. The first integration flow, Supplier EcoVadis Request ESG Score is triggered by the event and a request is sent to EcoVadis. This request contains the key information about the supplier including supplier number which is used as the integration id to uniquely identify the supplier in the second integration flow. EcoVadis will use the information in the request to locate the company on its platform or launch the assessment process for ESG scores if needed. The second integration flow, Supplier EcoVadis Sync ESG Score is run regularly (preferably daily) to retrieve the latest ESG data from EcoVadis and update the supplier profiles with matching integration ids.
