Install and Configure the Recipes

On your Oracle Integration instance, install the recipes to deploy and configure the integrations and associated resources.

Install the recipes on your Oracle Integration instance. See Install a Recipe or Accelerator.

After you've installed the recipes, configure the following resources:

Configure the REST LinkedIn Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Security section, leave OAuth 2.0 or Basic Authentication selected.
  3. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured.
    A message confirms if your test is successful.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.

Configure the LinkedIn Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Security section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Client ID Enter the client ID obtained while configuring LinkedIn. See Before You Install the Recipes.
    Client Secret Enter the client secret obtained while configuring LinkedIn.
    Scope Enter the scope of the access request. See the table in About The Recipes for the scopes of different recipes.
  3. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  4. Click Provide Consent.
  5. In the resulting Sign in dialog, enter your Oracle Integration user name and password, and click Sign in.
    You'll now be redirected to the LinkedIn sign in page.
  6. Enter your LinkedIn account credentials.
    A page is displayed asking for permission to interact with the account.
  7. Click Yes.
    You're informed that access is allowed. You can now switch back to the LinkedIn Connection window of Oracle Integration to test your connection.
  8. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured. In the resulting dialog, click Test again.

    A message confirms if your test is successful.

  9. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.
