Install and Configure the Recipes

On your Oracle Integration instance, install the recipes to deploy and configure the integrations and associated resources.

Install the recipes on your Oracle Integration instance. See Install a Recipe or Accelerator.

After you've installed the recipes, configure the following resources:

Configure the REST Twitter Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Properties section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Connection Type Select REST API Base URL.
    Connection URL Enter the connection URL in the following format: https://<oracle_integration_server_name>:<port_number>
  3. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured.
    A message confirms if your test is successful.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.

Configure the Twitter Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Security section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Consumer Key (API Key) Enter the API key obtained while configuring Twitter. See Before You Install the Recipes.
    Consumer Secret (API Secret) Enter the API secret obtained while configuring Twitter.
    Access Token Enter the access token obtained while configuring Twitter.
    Access Secret Enter the access secret obtained while configuring Twitter.
  3. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured.
    A message confirms if your test is successful.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.
