In the Integrations section of the
project workspace, click Actions on the integration flow, then select
Run.
On the Configure and run page, click
Endpoint metadata.
In the panel that opens, copy the
Endpoint URL value. This is the integration
flow's endpoint URL.
Update the integration's endpoint URL in your Jira instance.
To register the endpoint URL:
From your service project, select Project settings, then Details.
In the URL field, enter the integration's endpoint URL that you obtained in step 2.
Click Save.
Create an issue in Jira.
Select Create.
In the Summary field, enter the summary of the issue.
Complete all the required fields and any other fields.
Optional: To change which fields appear when you create another issue, select Configure Fields and select and deselect the fields you want. When you next create an issue, the selected fields will be displayed.
Optional: To create other issues with the same Project and Issue Type, select Create another . Depending on your configuration and issue creation history, some fields may be pre-populated. Review these before creating the new issue.
Select Create.
By creating the new Jira issue, you've successfully triggered the Oracle Jira GitHub Create Issue Sync integration flow. The integration now creates a corresponding issue in GitHub.
Monitor the running of the
integration flow in Oracle Integration. See Monitor Integrations.
Check if a corresponding new issue is created in GitHub.
Log in to your GitHub instance.
Select the repository.
At the top of the page, click Issues.
View the issues and verify that a new issue corresponding to the Jira issue is present.
