The Recorder Doesn't Start

If you can't start the recorder from the canvas, make sure that you've selected an action on the canvas.

Issue

The Record after the selected action button Record after the selected action is grayed out on the canvas, so you can't start recording.

The canvas contains an Open Application action, which isn't selected. The Record after selected action button is grayed out on the toolbar. An arrow points to the grayed out button.
