JDBC Driver Configuration

Server Manager installs the components for both of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne JDBC drivers.

See "Create a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Data Access Server as a New Managed Instance" in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Server Manager Guide.

Important:

If you are using a Type 3 JDBC driver, you must configure the JDBC driver by copying the e1jdbc.jar driver jar file to the class path of the application that will use the JDBC driver. The e1jdbc.jar jar file is located in the classes folder of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Data Access Server (DAS).

The Type 4 JDBC driver does not require manual configuration.
